  • Dr. Iryna Dzhygyrey – The assessment of environmental threats for regions sustainable development in Ukraine and a modified technique for evaluation of ecological dimension index of sustainable development.
The report encompasses a technique of environmental threats level assessment in aspect of sustainable development of Ukraine’s regions. Environmental threats structures are reasoned and threats components aggregation procedures are set up. A modified technique for evaluation of ecological dimension index of sustainable development of Ukraine’s regions is proposed.
  • Gayane Oganesyan – Major macroeconomic indicators for assessing financial stability.
The presentation is based on the research conducted regarding macroeconomic indicators, which have been used to not only assess the state and vulnerabilities of a financial system, but also to predict future crises. Particular attention is paid to the indicators that have been most commonly used in the Early Warning Systems, which, in turn, have been effective in identifying the financial systems’ vulnerabilities to the financial crisis of 2008-2009. Some of these indicators are highlighted, and the importance of their analysis is explained.
