The rector of Igor Sikorsky KPI Mykhailo Zgurovsky, Director of World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development Kostiantyn Yefremov and Chairman of the Council on Environmental Safety Serhiy Orekhov signed a memorandum of cooperation on November 22 (2018) in order to ensure continuous effective cooperation. On February 06 round table "Modeling the development of society in the context of quality and safety of life of people" was held within the framework of this memorandum.

Participants discussed the expansion of scientific contacts, cooperation, educational activities, implementation of the concept of sustainable development and promotion of innovative scientific developments for the solution of problems of the country in the field of ecology and environmental policy on the scientific reasonable basis, and outlined further steps. New Information Analysis Situation Сenter, results of World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development research in fields of strategic environmental assessment, spatial environmental data analysis, мodeling of sustainable development processes for sound decision-making and building scenarios were presented by WDC-Ukraine researchers.
